Dogecoin started out as a joke, and it still may be one. But no one could’ve predicted things spiraling out of control as much as they did. DOGE currently has a big enough market capitalization to be in the top 30 of all cryptocurrencies.

But the story began in 2013. Just after the launch of Dogecoin, the DOGE price also surged. The price went up from 0.00027 euro to 0.00089 euro. Sounds like small amounts, but if you look closer, that’s an increase of 229 percent!

In the beginning of 2014, it only took a few days for the price to shoot up by 400 percent. As impressive as that is, it wasn’t even the biggest increase. The best years are still to come. From April to May 2017 the price flew up by 650 percent.

But just like any other coin, DOGE reached its all-time high between the end of 2017 and January 2018. The price soared with no less than 1,700 percent! After each rise, a decline is sure to follow. But do you step in at the right moments? Then you can still make big profits with DOGE.
