According to analysts, Cardano picks up where it left off in 2024. ADA is on the right track, reaching a nice €0.48 share price by mid-year. At the end of this year, Cardano closes with a share price of €1.18.

Analysts expect the share price to enter calmer waters, but the long-term trend remains upwards. At the beginning of 2025, the share price reaches €1.15 but by December the counter is at €1.39.

Historical price analysis of Cardano

2017

Plans for Cardano were already ready om 2015, and the coin ADA was marketed through an ICO. ICO stands for Initial Coin Offering, a kind of crowdfunding for crypto projects.

Cardano brought in 53 million dollars this way and ADA has been tradable since 1 October 2017. It wasn't long before Cardano was tradable on all major crypto exchanges. By the end of November 2017, ADA had already reached 0.10 dollars. That doesn't sound like much, but it's five times the price of mid-October.

2018

At the start of January 2018, ADA reached its first milestone, at a value of nearly 1 dollars. But it didn't last long, because that year all cryptocurrencies lost a considerable portion of their value. Such a long period of price drops is called a bear market. ADA was also not able to escape this bear market.

2019

Cardano started off 2019 with a blast. The exchange rate went up to 0.08 dollars in April. After July, the price of ADA went downhill. On Wednesday 18 December, it hit the rocky bottom of 0.02 dollars.

2020

Cardano started off the year well: on Saturday 16 February, the coin brushed the 0.06 dollar price level. But the Coronavirus Pandemic spoiled things, and the exchange rate dropped to 0.02 dollars on Friday 13 March. In hindsight, this would have been a great time to buy, as Cardano closed the year with an exchange rate of 0.15 dollars. The highest price since 2018!

2021

In 2021, Cardano continues to push forward strongly. In May of this year, it first reaches a peak of 1.89 euros. Then, the price experiences a slight downturn to reach an ATH of 2.49 euros in November.

2022

Even Cardano doesn't escape the crypto winter. 2022 is a tough year where the price ends below 0.25 euro.

2023

A variable year where the price seems to initially find its way back up. However, six months later, the price has barely moved. At the end of the year, there's a surge, and the price closes the year with more than double the minimum value.
