2015

Dash started as Xcoin in 2014, and only cost € 0.21 way back in the beginning. The year after that was a true blast for the coin, which by now was called Dash. The price rose to € 4.63 in March. Dash concluded the year with a price of € 3.

2017

But we wouldn't see the true big gains until the 2017 bull run. In March, Dash pushed through € 100 for the first time in its history. The following milestone came in August: an imppresive € 250.

Midway into December came the bang: the all-time high of over € 1,250. This is the yet unbeaten all-time high of Dash.

2018

Well, 2018... A year many Dash investors would like to forget. The coin started the year with a value of over € 1,000, but by the end of 2018, it was hardly worth € 70. A decline of about 93 %.

2019

Was that the ultimate dip? It seemed so, at first. The exchange rate rose to € 156 in June. But then a fresh free fall started. Dash closed 2019 at a price of around € 40.

2020

In the first two months of 2020, the price rose quicker than you could say Dash. But the Corona Crisis gave the crypto markets quite a beating: in mid-March, the price was no more than € 30.

A nice time to buy the dip, as it turned out. Dash moved between € 60 and € 80 for the rest of the year. But that was only a warming up for what was about to happen in 2021.
