Everything About the VeChain Price

As a rule, ups and downs alternate throughout the years. 2018 and 2019 were clearly down years, but in 2020 the VeChain rate shows what it really has to offer. The VeChain price moves very quickly. You can see that in the graphs above, days of +10% are quite common.

However, that also means that there may be days of -10%. Investing in VeChain can be very profitable, but be prepared for some inevitable frustrations. The volatility is quite high with this coin. Nonetheless, there are some things where you can base the movements upon, which we will get back to later.

Every second of the day, the price of VET is changing. 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. VeChain has no opening or closing price, as you may be familiar with in the stock market.

In the charts above you’ll find more statistics of the VeChain price. How much did VeChain increase in the past 24 hours? What percentage of the crypto market is made up of VeChain? You’ll also find the return on investment if you’d have bought VeChain a year ago, two years ago, or even three years ago.

Do you want to know what the VET price was on a specific day? No problem, use the historic price table in that case. For example, you can look up the day that Walmart decided to put its meat on the VeChain blockchain. Many companies approach VeChain for their product. That’s one of the things where you can base the price fluctuations on. If these associations are made public, then you’ll often see great surges in VeChain’s price.

History of the VeChain Price

  • The story of VeChain begins on 4 August 2018, starting with a rate of 0.0123 euro.

  • 10 days later it’s already halved, trading at 0.006 euro.

  • On 4 September, VeChain reaches its all-time high. It took less than a month to reach the rate of 0.0174 euro. That may not sound like much, but keep in mind that investors have hundreds of thousands of VeChain.

  • From that point, things went downhill, with the low point on 15 December 2018. The coin was worth merely 0.0029 euro.

  • Then a spectacular growth began. VeChain quadrupled in worth and traded for 0.0085 euro on 25 July 2019.

  • Then, COVID-19 held the world in its tight grip. On the 13 March 2020, VeChain went down to an all-time low of 0.0018 euro. In hindsight, this was the best moment to step into the VeChain game. Within three months, on 11 June, the coin was worth 0.009 euro.

  • That’s a fivefold increase! Mind = blown.

Only Invest an Amount That You Are Prepared to Lose

We recommend you to carefully consider the amount you want to invest. Only invest money you’re able to lose without getting in (financial) trouble. Investing in VeChain may be an interesting opportunity, but it doesn’t come with any guarantees.
