What is Pay by Bank?
Pay by Bank is a bank transfer from your own account. The same trusted way of paying you already know, only easier.
The big difference with a regular transfer: you don't type anything yourself. The IBAN, the amount and the reference are already there for you. So you can't make a typo, forget a digit in the IBAN or add the wrong reference. You check it and confirm in your own banking app.
Behind the scenes this works through Open Banking. That is a European standard that lets you give your bank permission to prepare a payment for you. We arrange this together with IBANXS, a Dutch payment service supervised by the Dutch Central Bank.
How Pay by Bank works
Create your order
Choose the coin you want to buy and enter the order amount (from €30) and your wallet address. Then select Pay by Bank as your payment method and find your bank.
Confirm in your banking app
Your banking app opens with the IBAN, the amount and the reference already filled in. You check it and confirm.
Done!
Your payment arrives quickly and your order is carried out automatically. No risk of entering something wrong, and faster than doing it by hand!

Is Pay by Bank secure?
Yes. Pay by Bank is a regular bank transfer, a way of paying you already know and trust. You pay in your own banking app, with the same login and confirmation you're used to. Your bank always remains the party that carries out the payment.
We work with IBANXS for these payments. IBANXS holds a PSD2 licence and is supervised by the Dutch Central Bank. Your banking details don't go to us, nor to any third party that stores them.
You confirm every payment yourself. Nothing happens without your approval in the banking app.
