Over the past few years, we listened closely to our customers. What worked well, what could be better, and what was still missing. This new platform is our answer. Easier to use, nicer to read, and with features that actually help you stay on top of your crypto.
Why now
When we started in a cafe in Nijmegen in 2013, crypto was still an idea that few people took seriously. Buying a bitcoin took weeks. Today, crypto is part of daily life for millions of Europeans. The world has matured. So have we.
That deserved a platform to match.
A calmer and more accessible design
We rebuilt the look and feel of BTC Direct from the ground up. Not for the sake of change, but because our previous design no longer matched how our customers use the platform.
The new colour palette is calmer: a fresher blue with more breathing room between elements. Text is larger and clearer, so you don't have to squint. Buttons have more contrast and the navigation is simpler.
We also put serious work into accessibility. The entire website is now easier to use if you have reduced vision, prefer keyboard navigation or use a screen reader. Not as an afterthought, but as a core principle.
The result: a platform that doesn't just look better, but feels better too, on every screen and for every user.
